When can I check-in?

Check-in starts from 15:00. Check-out is at 11:00. If you want to check-out later, late check-out is available for 20€ per hour until 13:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and is only available until 13:00, please contact us for late check-out request.

What if something comes up and I need to cancel?

Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of reservation and rate you selected. Please refer to your booking confirmation for details. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Is there an elevator?

Yes, there is an elevator in the building.

Can I bring my dog?

No, dogs and other pets are not allowed on the property.

Can I party in my room?

No, parties are not allowed. Quiet time is from 22:00 – 8:00, noise caused by loud music and celebrations must be avoided during this period. This also applies to Saturday, which is treated as a working day. On this day too, there must be silence at 22:00.

Although we also enjoy the occasional house party, others near you might not. Help us create a space to unwind and relax. Please be mindful of other guests. Quiet time is strictly enforced, violators will be removed.

Is there an age restriction?

The minimum booking age of a guest is 18 years old. Minors are not allowed to stay in a unit without approval from a guardian.

Is there housekeeping?

Yes, our cleaners arrive daily at 11:00 to clean the property. In an effort to save the planet, we appreciate your support of our policy to launder bed linens and towels every 2 days for guests who stay multiple nights. Of course, if there is an emergency and you would like your linens and towels changed sooner, please contact us directly and we will be happy to assist you.

Is there parking?

We do not have our own parking garage, but BLK Hostel guests can get an exclusive discount at Q-Park City Center which is just a short 5 minute walk from the property. You will need to book parking online, parking information will be shared with you in your guest portal after you have completed your online check-in.

What are my transportation options?

While in Düsseldorf you will find plenty of transportation options, getting around is very easy.  Most places can be reached just by walking. Rheinbahn is the public Transport provider operating in and around Düsseldorf. You can take the subway, trams, and the buses. If trains and busses are not your thing, taxis are another good option. Call +49 211-33333 to book a taxi. Our city also has Uber and Freenow. It can be a cheaper option to regular taxis sometimes, and is often a better service too. Download the Uber or Freenow app on your smart phone to use their services.

We also recommend using Google Maps on your smart phone or laptop to check for distances and directions.

Düsseldorf Central Station (Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof) is only a short 10 minute walk to and from the property.

Düsseldorf International Airport is a 15 Minute car ride to and from the property and 30 minutes by tram and subway.

Convention Center Düsseldorf (Messe Düsseldorf) is a 15 Minute car ride to and from the property and 30 Minutes by tram and subway.

Are towels and linens provided?

Yes, towels, linens, and hair dryers are provided in all rooms. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are provided in all bathrooms.

Is there a kitchen I can use?

No, we do not have a kitchen or microwaves that you can use. However, there are plenty of supermarkets and amazing food options nearby the property. 

Are there meeting spaces?

No, we do not have any meeting spaces.

Is there luggage storage?

Unfortunately we do not have any luggage storage facilities. However, we can recommend a reliable and safe luggage storage company with multiple locations throughout the city if you need to store luggage before you check-in and after you check-out.
